Day 5

My good deed today was to put out the rubbish. I know I made a difference because whoever was going to put out the rubbish wont have had to and they had time to do what they wanted. I once again felt proud that I did this because I feel that every little thing that I do adds up into something big. The person I helped must have felt relieved because it was one less thing that they had to worry about.

Day 4

Today my deed was to make breakfast in bed for my family. I knew that they were grateful because they didn't have to get up early to make breakfast. The whole family said that it was delicious. I felt happy that I did this because Mum and Dad were very happy that I did this deed. Dad and Mum must have been happy about getting a Sunday breakfast in bed.

Mum and Dad are very happy about this project and ask me everyday who is going to be the recipient of the days good deed!

Day 3

Today my good deed was to cheer on a little girl (about three years old) down the water slide. She was very nervous and wasn't moving down the side at all. Her Mum couldn't help because she was at the bottom of the slide waiting for her. Today I didn't make a difference as such but I calmed her down and helped her conquer her fear. I felt proud when I helped her because she wasn't going to do it and she wasn't going to have fun if she hadn't done it. The little girl must have been so brave to go down the slide and I think that she was greatful that I helped.

Day 2

Today I decided to make dinner for the family and replace all of the rubbish bags. I helped Mum again today because she usually makes dinner and she would have been the one to have replaced the rubbish bags if I didn't. I know that I made a difference because Mum gave me a big hug and said "thank you!" when I did the rubbish and she had a huge smile pasted across her face when I was making dinner. I felt really good when I did these things because Mum has so many things to do and I feel proud being able to help her just a little bit by doing these two things. Mum must have felt so relieved when she didn't have to worry about what to do for dinner!

I am looking forward to tomorrow and already have an idea about what to do.

Day 1

Today, my good deed was to feed, brush and play with our three cats. Mum usually feeds them and Dad normally plays with them. I know that I made a difference because Mum and Dad were relaxing while I helped with the cats. I also know that I made a difference because the cats weren't meowing because they wanted food or attention. I felt happy when I did this good deed because the cats were happy. I felt proud because feel that I made a small difference today.I know that I helped Mum because she said "thank you" and that I was a help. I think that the cats were also happy that I did this because they all had silky coats, full tummies and were playful.

I am looking forward to tomorrow and I am already planning what I am going to do tomorrow.
